A very interesting museum in Samos town. It is near the garden, the Town Hall and the big church of Sant Spiridon. It has 2 buildings. The old and the modern one. Both are of a great importance. This museum contains a number of statues from the Heraion, including one of the largest free standing ancient Greek sculptures ever found--a 16 ft. marble kouros. It was found in pieces.
