The vast space in the centre of Thessaloniki is beautiful. Enjoy the breeze and an ice-cream. You can see old town on the north as you walk by the sea.

Aristotelous square is another landmark of Thessaloniki and has a very unique character. I would rate it as excellent if the ugly constructions to shelter local cafes were missing. Worth visiting.

a few words about Aristotelous Square: get those irritating tables from cafeterias out of the square, it is like a jungle there!!! terrible images that show lack of civilization in a city with a 2300+ history.
