It is a site seen from the hop-on-hop-off buses, worth to get off and walk around, go down and see the huge stadium. Bring water with you really hot up there.

Had to go on the donkey ride to the top, but once you are at the top wow what a view, very hot though wouldn't advise going in July.

A sightseeing trip by open top bus which takes in the Acropolis is a great way to see this part of Rhodes. You can leave the bus and catch a later one as they come round every half hour, and it only costs 8 euros regardless of how many times you are on and off. As the people say though,... More

The history of Rhodes is fascinating. There is more to this island than most people think. No visit to Rhodes is complete without visiting the Old Town in Rhodes.

There was no lateral protection to walk in the stairs. The acropolis of Rhodes has a fantastic view of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Acropolis offers very good views down over Lindos and the surrounding area. It can get busy up there so get up early to beat the masses and enjoy the Acropolis while it is still relatively quiet.

Great to see the ruins of the temple, the stadium and the ampitheatre - also the small exhibition close by in the old gynasium. Photography of the ruins was spoiled by lots of groups of school children though!
