Oia is the most beautiful... 2 hours is enough to visit the caldera... best rent a private boat from the small fishing port for 200 dollars for 2 hours so you don't have to put up with tourists, restaurants on the port are great and cheap... worst restaurant is 1800.. the expensive hotels are very snobby so stay at Maryloujohn... The trip is nice and cheap , we spent from perissa only 20 € p/p by bus and after boat in thira to volcano island,after going to hot springs then terissa island and finally to oia.
