Chora of Amorgos is one of the prettiest in the Cyclades.. but, because by now there are too many bars & cafes in the narrow streets, july & august makes it full with people. To see the real beauty of Chora - you need to go off-the tourist season.

Lovely little capital at the top of the hill looking down at the Katapola port at one side, and south to Arkessini on the south side.

The old Chora set in the hills above the port of Katapola is full of little narrow winding streets, devoid of traffic, but with a few little shops and quite a number of cafe bars and tavernas. A lovely little place which most of the time is very quite and peaceful.
