It was approaching lunchtime when we entered the gardens so I asked the assistant at the door if there was anywhere to get food and she said there was a cafe with sandwiches etc.

After reading other reviews I was cautious about the cost of E10 per person as was concerned about access, however, we were with friends one of whom was using two sticks and they managed very well going down and used the transport to get back. Probably think E10 was a little expensive, but overall I really enjoyed the gardens as...

All the flowers were not in bloom but despite this there was enough color and plants all over the gardens. We appreciated the peaceful athmosphere - not too many visitors...

We went up to Monte on the cable xcar and bought the ticket inclusive of the Tropical Garden. After seeing all the beautiful flowers on the floats from the flower parade 2 days before the gardens were a disappointment. Even the area for local fauna and flora did not have much colour.Pleasant enough walk, very hilly ,unless you are really...
