View of the harbor. There are museums to visit and the Jeronimos Monastery and the tower to visit. Prepare to walk between sites. There also a great resturant behind the cafeteria near the boatyard. More

The church and cloisters are the only things really worth visiting and be prepared to wait in a long line to access them. The Maritime Museum gift shop is better than the actual museum unless you really like ship models and pictures of ships. Get a Via Viagem card which id 5Euro per day and all trams lifts metros and buses are paid for. As these would be 3.6E per trip this is the best deal in town. Just a tram ride from downtown Lisbon is the Belem area, which has multiple notable monuments, a former monastery, and (my personal favorite) a marvelous tropical botanic gardens with rows of truly awesome trees. More

There is free entry to the church (I think) but it is worth visiting the Cloisters and doing that tour... This is a very historic site and well worth seeing.. More

Belem is easy access by tram 15E, leaving from Praça figueras.
