Lisbon Zoo is an impressive attraction when in Lisbon. You can stroll much of the grounds fee of charge (*but you can also pay to see more attractions). See the gondolas high in the air transporting people around the grounds, admire the lovely fountain and pools. Kids will love this place. More

We went off season, mid-week and arrived at the official opening time. It wasn't open and we had to wait, which was just the start. No dolphins mid-week; we were told that when we bought tickets and accepted it. Oh, but also no overhead cable cars mid-week; we weren't told that. The aviary was not open; we also weren't told... They have Dolphins! And its super clean and the cages are spacious. I, for the first time saw a coala bear and a white tiger. I spent like 6 hours to see the whole thing and it was truly amazing. More

one of the best zoos I have been to. Very very child friendly, great dolphin/seal show, clean, lots of vegetation and the animals are not surrounded by high walls but are quite visible and close to you. Lots of choices for food. It was a great experience! More
