This museum is worth the visit: it shows and tells the story of the Portuguese colonies and settlements in Asia, and the exhibitions are very comprehensive, but it never gets too much. To reach the museum you have to cross the railway - this is best done a couple of hundred yards on the Lisbon side of the museum, next to the bridges.
