I wouldn't go out of my way to see it, but it's worth taking a few moments to glance around or walk outside if you're using it as a transportation hub. I was in the station twice (coming and going) switching from the metro (red line) to a regional train and it was an adequate transportation center. Outside, it is... More

In Victorian Britain railway stations were built like cathedrals. This achieves much the same effect and it is certainly worth visiting to see the absolutely stunning design. More

By arch. Santiago Calatrava a great piece of design. A great shopping mall is right infront of it and also the best station to get the ALFA train to Oporto (takes appx 3h) More

Very nice place with an interesting architecture. You have to pass through there to go to "Parque das nações", so spend a few time just wlaking near the station. More

The Gare de Oriente in Lisbon is truly a landmark. A beautiful train station, that also serves as a metro and bus hub. The architecture is outstanding, but it truly shines after dark, when the station is illuminated. It is far from downtown Lisbon, but easily reached by metro in about 25 min with the RED line. Once there, you... More

I wouldn't go out of your way to come and see this station, but definitely explore it on your way to either the Oceanarium or Parque de Nacoes. The station is really easy to reach via the Red Line metro. It is the last stop on that metro line. The station is completely designed as an open concept. The white... More
