This is probably one of the best golf layouts in the Algarve, the problem is the maintenance and service. There is a visible lack of investment and attention to details. Too many tee boxes without a flat surface to play from and grass, markers on the tee are old and terribly looking, the flags on the green are ripped, Just... More

“Considered by many one of the best golf courses in Portugal”. It May have been, at one time, but possibly due to the recession cut backs, has been sadly neglected. The greens are still excellent, and it isn’t an easy course, but it is scruffy and poorly maintained! While I appreciate that there was little rain for 3 months, it... More

Parkland type golf course with quite a few water hazards, good test of golf, perhaps a little tricky for higher handicappers, but most golfers will enjoy the challenge More

Found the course quite hard initially but after 6 rounds in glorious sunshine just about got it sussed! It was quite boggy in place due to recent rain, which unfortunately brought out the mosquitoes and we all had some nasty bites! Hasn't put us off returning though. All the staff there were helpful and friendly. It is a real gem. More

Whilst this course was great in all aspects, what was unforgiveable was the time it took to do 18 holes. 5 Hours 20 Minutes !!! for a 2 Ball. The course was far too over subscribed. We booked to go out at 11.00 as a 2 ball but we understand the need to couple up as a 4 ball. On... More
