Not much to see and no guide as to what is available - not really worth a visit. It may be different if you go with a guide.

Walk around in the building and enjoy the many blue tiles. One of the oldest university's right behind the Roman monument downtown.

During our visit it was Freshers week and the poor new students were undergoing there initiation. All good hearted but quite raucous.

I stumbled upon the university during a hot afternoon's exploration of Evora and found a place of cool tranquility. I enjoyed wandering about and enjoyed a tasty lunch at a price that students would be happy to pay. It was also interesting experiencing a natural Portuguese environment with not a tourist in sight!

We went with a guide and were able to see different classrooms and the library, might not be the best or most modern place to study but the buildings tells a story worth seeing!

You can simply walk in and go through the corridors. Old rooms still being used for lectures! Worth a visit, even if not all guides advise you.

Walk around in this beautiful old building, check out the lecture halls and have (a cheap) lunch in the cafeteria with the students.
