I visited the brewery a couple of days back when i was in Bruges. I thought the tour costing Euro 6.50 was very ordinary. However you can visit if you have the time just to try their beer. They give you a beer at the end of the tour. Not a bad place, but not worth going out of you... More

This was a must for my husband. He enjoyed the tour of the brewery but said I would not have made it round, especially the steep steps. Be warned though, lots of coach parties are constantly goung around aswell, so gets very busy and congested. This is more of a museum rather than a working brewery, but very interesting. Worth... Cost 6.50. Ours was a dual-language tour (English and French), so it took longer and involved a lot of waiting while the guide explained everything in the other language. The combination made an unwieldy group of about 45 people. No time for questions. At the end was not a tasting of their beers, as advertised, but rather a glass of... More

This tour takes about 45 minutes and leaves on the hour. It seemed like the primary language used is English, but they repeat in Dutch and French routinely for other visitors. This brewery has been in the middle of Bruges for over a hundred years; and the tour takes you all through the building. People that have trouble with steep,... More

This tour of the adorable little ancient brewery in the center of Bruges was fun and informative, just the right length at 45 minutes, gave us great views over the city from the top of the brewery and ended with a yummy glass of unfiltered Bruges Zot! The value was excellent at 6.50 Euros. More

Don't expect a trip round a working brewery - it's more a museum - and it's not for those who are bad on their legs: there are a lot of steep steps, but the view from the roof top is worth the climb. Our guide was very amusing and entertaining and we learnt a lot about beer and how to... More

The Halve Maan is one of our regular lunchtime stops. The menus are reasonably priced and the portion sizes very fair - beware the cheese platter - it is HUGE, so be hungry. The brewery's local draft beer Zot is freshly served and very refreshing. Their original super brew Straffe Hendrik should be consumed with care as it is very... More

We enjoyed our tour, and the beer is great, too! The tour guides are funny and give a good history lesson along the way. It's better to arrive earlier in the day, when the kitchen is still open, so that you can have a snack and sit awhile to enjoy your beer. We took a 4 pm tour, which was... More
