We were not sure to come here but we are so glad we did. Beautiful inside, very peaceful. Seeing Michaelangelo's Madonna and Child makes it most definitely worth a visit.

Legend has it that this is the only Michaelangelo to leave Italy in the sculptors lifetime. It is a breathtaking Madonna & Child in a lovely setting. This is a gorgeous church with lots of other great art as well. Small entry fee of $2 E to help maintain this beautiful church is quite a bargain.
It's a do not...

Beautiful church with lots to look at. Of course the Michelangelo is stunning and attracts the most visitors, but the graves of Mary of Burgundy and Charles the Bold as well as the old tombs are interesting. They're renovating, so some art isn't signed.

There is an entrance fee but it's worth it. There is a sculpture of Michelangelo here but you should ask where it is. The church is large with lots of things to check, e.g. some very old graves that have been found under the floor.
