Great views on the Meuse and on the world-renown "rochers de Freyr", rocks that are climbed everyday by alpinists. The view from the rocks itself is outstanding (good bar on top too : Mont Blanc which serves belgian fries...). The Chateau de Freyr is also a good place for seminars or parties (weddings etc...).

Tricky location, the Chateau has been attacked by the water of the Meuse frequently, but still remains a beautiful castle, very 'french', we visited when spring started, so the garden was beginning to bloom (very 'english'). Located half way between Hastiere and Dinant along the Meuse River is Freyr castle and gardens. It shuts for an hour between 1-2. It is a combined fee for castle and gardens and English translation sheets are available for each.
