Went Thursday afternoon after a walk around Brussels lovely. Very good selection of beers and the nibbles complimented the beers perfectly. It really is a lovely bar which highly recommend you try.

Beautiful decor in this little bar, apparently unchanged since the 1920's. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and it was a little busy so service was a little slow but as you'd expect really. The prices are about €1-1.50 more expensive than most bars in Brussels for beers, and there wasn't a massive choice but decent enough. We went... More

This was our first stop in Brussels and it was right up our street! Lovely beers, a small but welcoming menu and the interior makes it a lovely place for a spot of lunch where you can sample beers and talk without it being so loud.

visited here on a weekend break. Had a couple of very strong beers, which were both excellent. and also a plate of Belgium meat which went very well with the beers. Highly recommended...

Nice environment, wide range of Belgian beers, good prices, friendly staff. The right place, in downtown Brussels, to experience the 19th and 20th century.

It firstly is a beautiful building and decor that hasn't been changed from the 30's from what I have heard, The atmosphere is quite nice but you can see all sorts of people, mostly turists I think. But it's a must see so I think it was ok.

A more traditional watering hole with a great atmosphere - busy but not too noisy. Spent most of my second night in Brussels here winding down with a colleague after a long, dull conference as it was recommended and not far from my apartment. Beers are good and there is a wide choice, clientelle are friendly and chatty. Can understand... More
