Crowded, pricey and some good spots. Go to Chocolat Corne (they are in the city elsewhere too) for some nice packaging of Belgian chocolats.

Unfortunately, Trip Advisor makes you write a longer review. The headline tag says it all. I will add that the Mary Chocolate shop has a cute purse made of chocolate and filled with chocolates. My kids thought they were the best chocolates they had ever tasted.
Built in the era of Leopold II. Stunning architecture; piece of Art! Still one of the must-see in Brussels. With some nice candy/chocolate shops and cafés it is a nice place to relax a bit.
After all these years in Brussels, I still always enjoy walking through these galeries. All the chocolate shops that seem to be open ALL the TIME of course help... And then there are the vintage jewellery boutiques, the Delvaux shop, a few great bookstores, a cinema & a theatre, a pain quotidien and a brasserie (or two)..
It feels like this place must be one of the most frequent visited places in brussels, so please do not allow the crowd to push you through :-)
Take your time and go into the different shops as well, just breath this special atmopshere and unique designs of the 5 different chocolate boutiques is worth a while.
Great place, remnds...

It is one of the places in Brussels which fascinates almost everyone. The architecture, the colorful chocolate stores, the cosy restaurants, ..all and all it make you say: WOW!
Les Galaries Saint Hubert is a picturesque passage filled with popup shops. Tavern restaurant was ok, but the vegetables were old and mushy. The restaurants on Food Street just to the side looked much better and had a great atmosphere as we walked by.
When you are at the Grand-Place, it is just a short walk to visit. The glass covered atrium is nice to protect you from the elements. Take a nice stroll through to window shop.
A really lovely place to visit, takes you away from the tacky tourist shops! Plenty of lovely choclatieres to visit in there too!
Very close to the grand place so definitely visit them when your there as the building is very beautiful. Its pretty cold during the winter though so dress up!
