You can't really get a close-up picture if you go there. You can go to the top but from there you can't see the lion. Its built in that way. Its quite a good exercise if you are fit. But the place is well maintained. There are two small museums that you can see as well. More

Going to the Waterloo battlefield and not visiting the panorama and the visitor's center is as absurd as visiting the latter and avoid climbing the steps to the lion sculpture. Waterloo is a way of looking back two centuries and visualise how battles were fought at that time, men against men with few machines apart from some riffles and canons. More

Wonderful place to have a good view of the region. The panorama is an old dated building screaming to be pimped. Wax museum is a little bit spooky, also needs updating. If you want to watch the movies at the visitor's center you should enter fast otherwise you have to wait 20 minutes for the next one. More

Always cool to walk around the place. The Panorama and the Film are ok once; hump up the mound once every couple years for the view. More

Great look at history... the Panorama is "tired" though... needs a little face lift. More
