We come across this street in a peaceful location close to the Berchem station. with A variety of facades and balustrades, each building has its own story, each one is something to look at. If you are not sure, walk along the tram line (route 11 from Berchem)

On my most recent trip to Antwerp, we visited the Cogels-Osylei twice. One time during the day, to marvel at the architecture. And another time at night. Not all of the houses have curtains, and when outside it's dark you'll see crystal chandeliers, marble statues, antique books etc.. All for free! I must admit we felt a bit like voyeurs,... More

This street is full of beautifully designed houses (or I should say façades at the very least) in art-noueau style where extravagant features are aplenty. On a sunny day it makes for a wonderful walk. It is a short walk from Antwerpen Berchem station or tram no.4 connects it with the historical centre.

The road is lined from one end to the other with beautiful art nouveau houses, each individual and distinctive, and is certainly worth a visit. See also the neighbouring Waterloostraat and General van Merlenstraat for more eye candy. You can take the train or tram to Berchem or take tram 11 to Dageraadplaats. It's worth exploring the bars and restaurants... More

Get off at Berchem train station and walk into the Cogels-Osylei or take the tram to get there. Go for a walk and admire the amazing architecture. Let your walk end at the Dageraadplaats for a drink.

I love walking the street and gaze in awe at all the beautiful buildings. Secretly, I am so jealous of the people who actually live there!

Out of the old historical center, but certainly a must see when you visited Antwerp. Expect a great mix of Jugendstil, Art nouveau, and Neoclassicism.

You can take a tour with a guide, so you hear all about the special architectural pearls which were build long time ago.... It is said that this is the most beautiful street of Antwerp/Belgium. I used to live here, but because of all the traffic noise (500 busses/trams every day!) and difficulty to park our car, we mooved. So... More

This street is a real gem, a well kept secret right in the middle between the center of Antwerp and Berchem. You'll find unique houses designed in authentic Art Nouveau and Jugendstil style. Really unique, certainly worth a visit. Take your time to walk down the street back and forth an have lunch or dinner at one of the nice... More

Have a look at the architecture of the houses in this street, some of them are even for sale, but you will need quite a large budget...
