It was such a stifling day when we visited Antwerp that all we could do was to stop every half hour to drink beer! This I did not mind, particularly when we stumbled upon the outdoor pub and mini festival playing rockabilly music on the Sunday that we visited, in the cooling shadow of Het Steen. If you will be in Antwerp it is necessarily to visit Fortress Steen. You should necessarily grasp with you extra sweater. The fortress is located near the water, on the river Schelde. A wind there blows constantly. The guide has told us that many people have sunk in these dark waters with a rapid current. And now about the fortress...
