this place is magnificent, the architectures are great, the cafes are nice. try the french fries and other foods. also make visit to the cathedral too. magnificent cathedral too

Beautiful medieval square dominated by the City Hall and the Guild Houses. Large assortment of restaurants all around the square and the surrounding streets.

The Big marketplace in Antwerp is the very center of the city; a must see for the beautiful guildhouses around it. You can sit down and relax at one of the many cafés and restaurants there. Enjoy !

It's the heart of Antwerp! Its story lives there, its traditions, its architecture. Nothing like having a "bolleke" (De Koninck beer) overlooking the square. Amazing when sunny!

Unpretentious, and earthy, there is a charm here that belies it's grittiness. Explore the surrounding streets ad you'll find wealth of history, in a safe and clean port town,....those of you that know, those things raely coincide.....here they do!

Antwerp's Central Market (Grote Markt) is the Townhall square, with beautiful buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries.
As it is smack in the center of town, within walking distance of other sights (Cathedral, Plantin Moretus Museum, RubensHuis etc.) it is worth a stop.
