Beautiful architecture, well maintained. This is where the town council works. Beware of pickpockets: Antwerp has a serious crime problem!

Brabo fountain in the foreground and the well kept building is a picture and memory that could only be surpassed by a return visit in the spring or summer. I love the fog, the mist, and the cold. Something about the area that brings you back into a slowing pace of living.

you must have a special invitation to get in, so I was disappointed to not be able to go in. The outside of the building is grand.

This place are a good place to visit in the spring and summer when there is a lot of people and outdoor restaurants. In September it was a bit gloomy. I recommend some sort of guidebook so you get som history behind the buildings.

It is a nice square but the restaurants are overpriced. And to food is so so... The terraces are good for a drink, but eat somewhere else in the city.

walk round a corner and this sight comes into view. Even on a wet day it is impresssive to see. Lovely square and close to the river.

The people of Antwerp call it " Het schoon verdiep ". They are themselves so convinced of the " beauty ".

This place is very very beautiful and anyone must visit !
