because none of the houses are that old, but the whole is still impressive and after all this is the heart of our city ! More

This is a sight to see when in antwerp as all sights are close together (cathedral, city hall, steen, main square). Outside is nice, but if you have a chance to go insights, that's far more impressive (woodwork, painting, carpets) More

when you are in town hall place you admire ALL the buildings with the excelllent facade and of caurse the unique town hall. More

Although, as far as I'm aware, there are no official visiting times, meaning, its not usually accessible to the public, I was allowed to visit it, but I found a bit of a cold interior (compared to other similar places). It looks nicer from the outside. More

The building itself was stunning and beautiful to look at, but whilst we were were sitting having coffee we saw 4 wedding parties. More

We were lucky as our conference programme included a reception at the town hall hosted by the Mayor. I coudl also enjoy taking some pictures of the square from the main balcony. The square in itself is impressive. The most beautiful open space in Antwerp indeed! A must-see! More
