Walked across the Erasmus Bridge one evening and it was awesome experience. I've walked past it and ridden across it a few times in the day but walking across was a different feel. The sight of tram going past was itself interesting, and then the water gates and all below. As it was night time when we crossed the bridge,... More

From the bridge you have a awesome view on some high lights of Rotterdam. When the bridge first opened there was a serious problem when windy. The bridge bounced up and down. After installing Koni shock absorbers the problem was gone. But still you can feel bridge bounch a little when the tram passes over it. In 2009 during the... More

The bridge is good for pictures and if you are interested in taking the boats close to it, also if you walk around you find nice views of the sea.

A must do and see in Rotterdam. Walk or take the tram over the bridge. Go up the viewing platform to take photos.

Nice bridge - but not very big - nice scenery Worthwhile to combine in a city walk Towards the south of the city where there is mostly neighbourhoods for the city inhabitants..

You can see why locals call this bridge "the Swan" - the lovely shape evokes the image of the graceful bird. It reminded me of a more graceful version of the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge, part of The Big Dig Project in Boston, and one of the widest cable-stayed bridges in the world.

Ok it is a decent bit of architecture but it isn't exceptional. It is a pretty big bridge near the city centre. We enjoyed the walk over it even though it was freezing cold. Nice to see structurally imposing but not the Golden Gate or Forth Rail Bridge.

I am wondering why everyone is so excited about this bridge. Modern design but nothing special.. You won't see magnificent view or something else. I believe there're much more interesting things to do in Rotterdam.

Very beautiful bridge with stunning design. It must see place if you go to Rotterdam. From Rotterdam Centraal you can take tram no. 7. It stops very close to Erasmus Brigde. You can also walk cross the brigde and see Rotterdam from it.

Interesting bridge that impresses me every time. The best view is from Noordereileand where you have benches to sit down and an open view to this stunning bridge. Just hop on bus 32, last station called Noordereiland and enjoy the view! Night view is even more romantic.
