The first thing you should know about this Museum is that it is really just one of the oldest houses in Leiden with an extraordinarily knowledgable guide, rather than a true Pilgrim Museum. This small house in the Beschuitsteeg in Leiden is something you stroll by, not even noticing what treasure is behind the door. This preserved house from the 14th century harbours all kinds of knowledge about the founders of New England.
