The highlight of my trip to Amsterdam was visiting De Bijenkorf. I found a beautiful Guess on sale for 80 euros which was reduced from 155. The store in on par with Harrods and Bloomingdales, well worth a visit when in the city.

This is the best shopping mall in central Amsterdam right at Dam Square, with a superb restaurant on the top. It has all the TOP brands and luxury products. The interior is really nice and trendy, well organized departments, very tidy and clean building. The staff members are really friendly. You can find everything there.

In the coffee corner we hardly could find any place to sit. Tables were a bit dirty, the coffee was tasty, sweets were of...

Visited on January 8th in the early afternoon.
As anticipated, the crowds at the beginning of the January sales period are quite overwhelming. The service and organization does not seem to handle it well.
We picked a pair of jeans on the special sale rack at the women's department, with a 50%-off sticker on it. When we came to pay...
