Take the free ferry across the IJ to Amsterdam Noord's old NDSM (old shipyards). Its quite an interesting area with many quirky art installations and plenty of old buildings just waiting to be rejuvenated. I'm in complete agreement with the previous reviewer. Those that know beer and visit Amsterdam will probably already be aware of this fine establishment. I come to Amsterdam about once a year and Het Ij is always a "must visit". Plzen is my personal favourite brew, but the other beers in the range are all worthy of exploration. Just not... More
