All looked real. I loved the expression of Marlene Monroe, the sexiness of Julia Roberts, and the Dutch Royals. were there too and other dignitaries. Gandhi and the Dalai Lama were also seen here. I was amused to see Salvador Dali. my first time to see him ..but only in wax.Since every visitors were busy taking pictures.. so better bring... More

A fun place to visit for an hour or so. The waiting time to get in is often more than one hour. The wax figures of some are much better than others. We didn't like the young George Clonney, the old Sean Connery (how unfair, side by side with younger Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig), and a strange looking J.Lo.... More

It's not the biggest museum I've visited so far, but it's the best place to spend time if you have an extra one or two hours. I didn't go there alone, so there was someone with me to take pictures. Interact how you want; you can touch the sculptures, hug them... There was also a dancing room with Charlie Chaplin,... More

It is cool to see some of the celebrities but after a while it gets kind of boring. I guess Madame Tussauds isn't my thing. More

When I went to Amsterdam in 2010 with my godson of 10 yrs, it was a thrilled experience to go to Mme Tussauds on the Dam. Not only for the dozens of real life wax statues, but also for two extra attractions : the history of Amsterdam, where in magnificent tableaux the visitors were taken back into the golden 17th... Extremely expensive for what they offer. If you wanna see and have fun in a real wax museum, don´t waste your money there and go the London one. Balcony rate is 22 euros but in every corner of Amsterdam you´ll find those touristic agencies that offers you a discount and a line-skip ticket. I´ve lost 1 hour and 18 euros... More
