Very noisy campsite, lots of cool wildlife though. Other guests were very unfriendly. Only allowed to stay for a week aswell and it's miles from anywhere.
This is a hige park where you can walk, jog, drink or eat or even go to the theatre!
I love going on Saturday or Sunday and jog along the water while Dutch sporters row on the water
It's ideal also if you have children. In fact you can go to the goat's farm where not only you can have...

This park is gorgeous, there are many hiking and running trails. Te cafe near the crew practice area is great to sit and grab a coffee while watching crew practice. Big parking lot and not far from the 5 and 51 tram stop.
If you like to escape Amsterdam city centre but does not want to travel too far to see "nature", then this forest is really a good place to go.
A lovely place to have a great walk especially for those you like a flat walk way. I totally enjoyed walking there last Autumn and stepping on the lovely autumn leaves...

Take a stroll though the forrest and enjoy the green scenery so close to busy Amsterdam. If you like pancakes, be sure to stopover and have one at the Boerderij Meerzicht. Strolling with kids? Don't miss out on the Goat Farm. Kids can give milk bottles to new born lambs :)
It's big, it's green, it's got a pancake restaurant and goat farm... and that's about all you can say for it. Nothing special.

It's a very nice place to go to if you want to walk in the forrest, walk your dog, fish, go for a run, watch rowers at the Bosbaan, bbq, play soccer, have a party for little kids, go for a picnic, or hire a canoo.
It's suited for everyone, families, couples, friends et cetera. In the summer the Bostheater...
