My daughter and I visted the museum on our last trip. Situated in the Jordaan, a charming suburb of Amsterdam, this is a treat. There are a wealth of old pianolas and pianos on display. The curator is friendly and polite and is a bastion of musical knowledge and will play a few tunes as well. It is usually open...

Went last friday with friends to see tango and folksinger Juan Tajes and pianoplayer Wim Warman again. This evening featuring guest violist Micha Molthoff. Both Wim and Misscha work at the Rotterdam Conservatorium and they are breathtaking.
Tango related songs presented from an international - or better universal - perspective by Juan and his friends. Different new songs were included...
