What can be said - an iconic image of Freddie in a perfect lakeside location. Possibly one for fans only...

This is an imposing statue or memorial to one of the greats of Pop Music and it was strange finding this in Montreux. If walking around the town do make a point of looking out for this and it is also a good photo opportunity.

Not much to do at the statue but look at it. It is in a great location on the lake with an impressive view.

Loved the statue and the tribute plaque with the words "Lover of life and singer of songs"! This spot is very popular with everyone and there are always folks posing for photos.

You can just feel the enthusiasm and joy that Freddie Mercury had living in this area and making his music here. Go see it. Have your picture taken beside it. It will simply bring a smile to your face.

The statue overlooks the beautiful lake and is definitely a sight to behold. People leave flowers and cards in memory to him. Definitely find this statue!
