The main disadvantage of this place is the layout. There are a lot of stairs which make it difficult for less mobile visitors. However, some of the exhibitions are fascinating whilst others are mediocre. On the plus side, it's not expensive so it is a place I visit regularly.

the variety of exhibitions in this museum was enough to get anyone excited - art lover or not. there was a film playing downstairs, modern, and old works of art. there is also a little book store at the front. great spot!

This is a nice place to spent time while in Lausanne. Exhibition and theme are nicely done that emphases the pictures' magic effects, creates a great atmosphere and make it accessible to anybody. Nice bookstore at the entrance.

I've been pleasantly surprised by nearly every exhibit I've seen there. They also have a nice bookstore. Maybe the most important thing is that the museum is actually open on Sundays, which is a miracle for Switzerland.

Musée de l'Elysée is one of the first museums in Europe exclusively dedicated to photography. The exhibitions are well curated, providing though-provoking aesthetic experiences not only for photography affectionados but for a wider audience as well.

Photography is one of my favorite. Musée de l'Elysée has always good exhibits, and went through some good renovations. A pity that they don't use more space of the beautiful building.

This old building is not far from the Olympic Museum and has charming architecture. I've been there for 3 exhibits, and none has stood out particularly. A recent one, on automatic/instamatic photo booths, was mildly entertaining. Not worth a special trip.

I have been there a few times during the years. Every once in a while there is an exhibition of some artist. Better doing it on a rainy day:-)

In Switzerland this museum is the place to go for photography. Always on the top, this museum is a must seen. The temporary expositions are stunning in term of quality and originality. As a photography enthusiast I recommend this place for family and for professional.
