To get here you have to take the funicular express to Sunnegga and then a gondola and the cable car to Rothorn. When there you have the most spectacular views of the Matterhorn and the surrounding area. The lovely runs are mostly blue and very wide which makes it lovely for beginners. intermediate slopes down to the quality of snow rather than slope incline difficulty, lovely long run down eitehr into Gant or back to the top of the sunnegga runs More

Lovely ski area at the far end from Cervinia link but well worth the trip. Nice, long red run number 19 to Gant. good restaurant with superb views and good food at the top. More

A good option for those who can ski already. As the red piste colour indicates this is not for beginners. May also be much windier and colder than the Sunnegga. More

This was a fun and exciting excursion! The trip to the Rothorn is in 3 parts, starting with a ride inside the mountain via a funicular train to Sunnega Paradise.
