It is hard to face all the hard truths they are showing you there but I loved it. You can walk through the history of the Red Cross / Red Crescent during all the conflicts they acted in, how they tried to help the people caught in them etc.. When I visited there was also a temporary exposition about the... More

Beautifully laid out, and a wonderfully curated window in to the history of and the continuing operations of the ICRC. A must-see in the city that is home to the Geneva Convention.

I've been to the shores of Geneva lake several times and I can never have enough of it. It is so beautiful, clean, serene and relaxing. You could just lay down there under a shade on a warm sunny summer - all day long, just absorbing nature's beauty. The views of France's Mt. Blanc on the other side is picturesque.

Pretty scripted visit. Worthwhile, but not more than 60 minutes. Cafeteria is relatively good value.

This museum is situated next to the UN, tells the story of the Red Cross along the years, alerts us to the worst of the war, has many documents, show us many objects built by prisoners, many photos and videos. Very interesting and educational ... It's free if you have Swiss Card...

The museum is closed for an extended period for renovations. Before going you should check on the progress but I believe it is until sometime 2013.

Interactive display with lots of information. I especially like the wall of kids' photos. Daunting but moving.
