If you have a few minutes to spare, this cute group of building is worth a quick look. The architect went all out in an otherwise very traditional Geneva, you get a Gaudi-esque corner. Enjoy!
Seriously... It is famous in Geneva because these are the only buildings which are a bit different. Doesn't mean you have to go to there on pupose to see them...
We passed by this architecturally bizarre place after spending the afternoon along the lake - we actually were going to les grottes for a glass - and these buildings are just at the top. I don't man to offend anyone, but architecture is not Geneva's forté. This buidling, in particular, in heidous. I don't think it's worth walking the few blocks from the train station to see this aberration of architecture.
This used to be a beautiful unusual architecture worth to see, but now it just got a little dirty and badly kept so still interesting

If you have visited the scenic "Hundertwasser" building in Vienna, you will like make a tour close to Geneva's main railway station, just above the "Grottes" district. A group of buildings where no symmetry seems to be allowed, with a partly spontaneous architecture. Some barocco references as well. A nice tour, and then, visit the Parc Trembley.
