What a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. You can safely stroll from one end to the other in 10 minutes. But, you would never do it in that time. Designer shops , Gelato cafes and restorante line the Corso Vannucci for hours long entertainment and the " people watching" is the best.

You must be on the corso between the hours of 5:00 pm and 7:00pm. This is when the Perugini and everyone else in town for that matter come out to walk up and down the corso. Grab a table at any of the outdoor cafes; order a bottle of Prosecco, sit back and watch!

Corso Vannucci is the ancient main road of the old city, running perfectly North south( as did the 'corso' in every large etruscan city) lined with great shops and in the evenings all the town folk walk the streets in fine attire to meet each other. Charming place!
