I recommend spending time here just relaxing--bring a chair and sit outside awhile. Also do stop by the Jalal Art Gallery--this artist has amazing depictions of Assisi and San Rufino. He is in the same plaza as San Rufino.

As you travel up the narrow roads of the town you come to San Rufino. A place also sacred a full of memory of a time past. The Duomo needs about an hour to look and soak in.

I found it very inspirational to be in the church where both St. Francis and Santa Clara were baptized. Also, there are spots in the church floor covered by glass for viewing ancient ruins the church was built over. Don't miss the statues of lions eating Christians in front.

When you have visit the church you MUST see the mesuem attached to the side of the sq, it will be well worth the visit
