Even if you knew a lot about Leonardos work you'll still be in store for some surprises at the museum. The models were great and thanks to the traveller who recommended getting an English iPod guide for the tour as a lot of the information is not translated into English.

the location of the museum is perched on the top of the hill in Vinci right in the prettiest part. Its lovely to spend some time wandering around the streets in the area, but the museum is definitely worth a visit too.
