We did this as a famiy with our teenagers. Travelling with teens can be challenging. This got them going! "Enough history & culture, let's go spread thermal clay all over mom & dad and then relax in thermal pools with jets and take vapor showers of essential oils!" Very relaxing, the people who work there are very nice too! If... More

Very relaxing Spa town,An ideal base point to explore Italy Tuscan attractions. The walking in Terme di Chianciano was pleasant & relaxing although the slopes would be inconvenient for wheelchair users. The main attraction was the Wednesday market where there were lots of stalls attended by local & holiday trade. It is a Spa town renowned for its healthy water... More

Felt more like a modern town, pleasant but different for a change, a modern renovated central piazza with all the hotels and spas surrounding, the tourists and the locals mingled and the nights can be long. When I was there, a special dancing floor, free for all who wants to loosen their joints after spas was put up in the... More

Dreaming of Tuscany .... well try to go to the southern part - where the ETRUSCANs lived many years ago. In the town of CHIANCIANO you will find it all .. the new part of the city with a lot of hotels, shops, restaurants and the spa center. And then on the old hill top like it has been for... More

We were looking for a relaxing break during our travels so we went to the Sensoriali spa for half a day. The language barrier is big here if you do not speak Italian. The shower and changing room areas were very minimal (four private showers in a coed area apart from changing rooms) and of insufficient size for the business... More

This was a great way to take a day off from wining and dining our way around Tuscany. We were the ONLY English speaking people there and we had a few language barrier issues that were resolved with some humor and sign language. :) We went during a weekday morning and it was pretty dead. We had fun doing all... More

I went to the baths on a Sunday to celebrate a friend's birthday. The facilities are clean and modern and fun, with many different treatments. We bought an entrance for 4 hours, and this was just enough time to do pretty much all treatments available: various pools and saunas, mud treatment, and several new-agey "treatments" that employ music or smell...
