This was my favorite church/cathedral in Italy. Just tons of interesting things going on, from the floor to the ceiling and everywhere in between. Well worth a slice of your day.

A museum of incredible art of the 13th and 14th century. A must is to buy the combines ticket to see the Duomo itself, the Museo, the Baptistry, the Crypt...very good value. a feast for,the eyes.
Wow it is magnificent. Friends had told us it is even more awe inspiring than the Duomo in Florence and we had to agree they were right.
Highly recommend going inside, absolutely stunning. Be sure to also check out the view from the tower area.
Do not miss this one! It is absolutely amazing and like nothing you have ever seen. Black and white marble inside. Did not have time to visit the museum but would try to do so if we visit again.

An amazing gothic cathedral. Easy to find from anywhere in the city. The cost has gone up a little $12 for combo pass that includes the Cathedral, museum, baptistery, and crypt. Climb to the top at museum for amazing views.
