What a great way to end a day in Florence. Great location! We took the 2 hour tuscan wines class with Maurizio. He is a great teacher and being a sommelier, is very knowledgeable. The selection of wines choosen for us to taste was representative of Tuscany. All of our questions, and more, were answered. We were able to compare... More

Whether you start your trip to Tuscany with a stop at Tuscan Wine School or end it with a class, don't miss this. My wife and I were the only students in Maurizio's (the owner) class we attended. And, it was a ball. Our two hours flew by as Maurizio taught us the basics of Tuscan wines. We tasted a... More

My husband and I found this attraction on TA and decided to attend the 2 hours wine class in Florence after the Academy so it was a good rest. Our teacher, Maurizio, was very knowledgeable and fun, he was pleased to answer to all our questions while we tasted good wines paired with cheese and dark chocolate , tasting and... More

Tuscan Wine School was superb. Maurizio is a spectacular host and teacher, with the gregarious and charming personality you expect from an Italian wine genius. He poured us great wines, and taught us more about the intricacies of Italian wines than you would think possible in a two hour session. Italian wines are so vastly different from the wines produced... More

We took the 2 hour class with Maurizio in Florence. We were given more than 2 hours with someone who is so knowledgeable, welcoming and with a great sense of humour. Maurizio can impart his knowledge by giving enough time for questions and by elaborating on his answers. The time went by so fast and we had fun learning. We... More

Just the right amount of education and fun. An hour of learning about what to look for in wine choices at the school (and as a novice it was not too technical) and then a pleasant drive to a winery and a fascinating look into how wine is made and then a lovely sit down tasting with some delicious home... My husband and I booked a Monday Italian Wines 2hour class, and we are glad we did! It ended up being only the two of us, so we ended up with a private 2 hour class with Maurizio. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about wine, and it rubbed off on us! I highly recommend taking a class if you... More

We did half day - starting at 9am with Maurizio. We learned a lot and he was so enthusiastic, it was contagious. There were 7 of us and we stayed at the school for 1 1/2 hours then off to winery. We went through many bottles and talked so much about wine from the area - it was the best... More

I attended the WSET courses in March at the Tuscan Wine School. It was amazing! I learned a lot of things! Our teacher was great, he is very good prepared in the wine field, and he is really passionate about wine. I will sure return to do some more classes there!
