even though its hard to find its really worth it. this is the most comprehensive museum of medieval weaponry and armour I've ever been in. The only issue is the lack of a tour guide. you must be accompanied but the guide does not explain anything but is simply there to ensure the safety of the exhibits. there are no... More

This is an incredible museum. Ne man's collection. Great armor and decorative rooms. You have to go with an attendant: not a guide, but she tries to be helpful. Tours leave on the hour. Max of 25 people. We had 4 at 1 PM on a Saturday! More

A beautiful small "palace" in a large but run-down garden north of the center. It houses a very large collection of weapons, armour, weapons, as well as other smaller varied collections. All placed in the rooms of Mr. Stibbert's private house and museum. Very interesting and unusual. More

Take the bus to this museum as it is out of the center...but it is charming and neat--has a large collection of armor and interesting Florentine exhibits. More

You might not think that a museum full of armour is your cup of tea, but we go here every couple of years and thoroughly enjoy it. There is no tour but you are slowly drawn through the musuem by the assistant for security reasons - there is a fair amount that is not that great but the armour will... More

A different kind of museum with relics of many battles. When we first entered I was surprised to see a room with many paintings with a Mona Lisa on the wall do I had my doubts. After the foyer though you really see what Stibbert was passionate about. He collected an incredible amount of armour , swords and other battle... More

About a 3-4 hr commitment to see the same kinds of things over and over again. Mostly didn't like that they required a guided tour, asked if I spoke English, but then the guide spoke only Italian. More

This museum has an incredible arms and armory collection. A bit hard to find as it is not right in the tourist area and you need to take the bus and then walk up the hill to get there but worth the trip. My son (and my husband) loved it, I liked the costumes they had and the art work.... More
