What a wonderful tour - full of amazing sights, places to visit, guided tours, history, wine tasting, so so much.
It lasted from 8.45am to 7.30pm, so be prepared for a long day, but honestly - the day went so quickly.
The distance from Florence to Siena (first stop), is about an hour and that will be the longest coach...

We reserved Siena San Gimignano & Chianti tour online, based on the recommendation of a friend.
We had an absolutely wonderful time: Antonela (the tour leader) is not only extremely friendly and knowledgeable, but she really cares about your own interests. She answered all of our questions, and we had a lot!

On 5 March 2012, I booked a tour through Albatravel and went to Sienna, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, and Chianti. It was such an amazing trip. The views were wonderful. The company was great. Also, our tour guide, Julio, is truly remarkable!! If my understanding is correct, however, Julio works with Ciao Italia. Nonetheless, it was Albatravel that set us up...

San Gimignano. Great spot but not enough time allotted
Farm with great wine and cheese and explanation of the local wines with samples
Siena: A beautiful tour and walk about the square Local Guide Getty (sp?) very well informed about the history. No beggars or street vendors. Very civilized.
