Great gallery, much more enjoyable than Uffezi (to us). Short, easy to navigate and condensed enough to make for a good tour. The main things were under construction but still a great place to see, lots of people coming and going and it's a place you just walk through to get other places. More

No air conditioning on a hot May day, but you can't skip this museum, not just because of Michaelangelo's David, but because it has so many other Italian painters not in U.S. museums or international collections. We bought an Uffizi membership and sailed in with no waiting. More

Really great little museum, much more the David. Be sure to reserve your tickets ahead of time forthe4 Euro fee. Lines are huge, and they only let inmllnmbers every 15 minutes, hitch makes it very nice once you're in. More

Also has a nice shop, but obviously that's not what you go for. More
