Wonderful art - though only of a limited period and geographical range, so not in any way a conventional gallery. Pre-booking is essential unless you love queueing. The profusion of guided tours is a real irritation. It would be far better if their size were limited They are loud, intrusive and completely clog up the area in front of the... More

It is full of wonderful art of course. Try to book ticket to see it in the early morning! At 4 pm in may, the gallery was too hot and overcrowded. If you book through museum site, make sure you do it in advance. It took them 5 days Business days to send me confirmation More

If you are only visiting Florence then sure go and see it but after seeing galleries such as the Musee d'Orsay and Louvre in Paris, this is a bit of a let down.... I say that but it also depend what kind of artistic styles you prefer.... I'm no art critic, just a regular Jo. If you're no art pro... More

On our way to Italy, my wife and I decided we both wanted to visit the Uffizi. For those of you who don't know what it is: the Uffizi is a former palace, owned by a tremendously rich family, who crammed every nook and cranny with art :). One of the pieces I really wanted to see was the world... More

I visited Florence 2 weeks ago and one place I wanted to see was Uffizi Gallery,.After visiting the museum I was amazed and fulfilled by the huge number of masterpieces I managed to see. I spent 3 hours and I recommend to have a plan of things not to be missed. Like:Leonardo da Vinci (The Annunciation, The Adoration of the... More

The artwork in the Uffizzi is classic, must see, monumental. But the hassle to get in is still so annoying. Even with a reservation, I had to wait in one line to buy the ticket at door 3 for about 20 minutes. Then I had to wait in another line at door one to get in and through security for... More

There is so much to see, paintings, sculptures etc. raise your eyes to the ceiling as well as they are very interesting. You will get tired as it's very big. I advice to book in advance as there are very long queues to get in. We had to queue a little even though we had pre booked, so be prepared. More

This museum was very peaceful, and there is a lot of art here that are popular pieces. I had missed this museum the first time I was in Florence, I'm glad I didn't miss it the second time. More

Don't miss this gallery. Buy the Florence Card, and skip the lines. Or make advanced reservations; our hotel (Hotel Dali) did this for us for free. More
