Having just visited the simply devine city of Vicenza, we were astounded by the beauty and Architectual brillance of Palladio's Teatro Olimpico. Give yourself plenty of time to drink in this wonderful building. More

Opera season in Teatro Olimpico just started may 20th (too late for us however). If possible we would have definitely have visited one. The teatro is really a gem..... seeing it without a performance doesn't do it justice... More

Don't miss this unique, amazing permanent stage set which creates the illusion of a classical city indoors. The staff can be a little fussy, but don't let that put you off. More

It is just awesome to visit and realize that lpays have taken place here since 1585. So much history. Learning that the heads on statues when to those who subsidized the theater in the largest amounts. More

Palladio's vision and masterpiece. Szamozzi complete like genius (also La Rotonda). I recommend the tour to feel the spirit of past centuries who were in the theater, which is more than 400 years active. More

This is the oldest enclosed theatre predating the famous Globe in London which was not enclosed. Also this was privately founded and maintained. More
