The piazza is kind of long and skinny with the Arena in the middle. There are many cafes where you can eat and watch the many people hustling about. We had dinner at hippo with a great view of the arena.

Piazza Bra is large enough to support lots of people without being over-crowded, and filled with so much to see that it became my favorite piazza in Verona. There is the 1900 year old Roman arena with its original pink marble. There is a large open area where people can stroll. There's the view of the old 12th century walls...

Piazza Bra encircles the Arena and is a picturesque place for walking, eating, meeting friends and listening to music during the Opera festival. It's left side, the Liston, is the most beloved place for walking for the very people of Verona who mingle nicely among the visitors to their splendid city.

A nice area of town to stroll and chill out with the rest of the crowd. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to give a good choice of cuisine and cost.

Worth going to if only to see the arena. Lots of nice eateries and it leads into the main shopping street which is pedestrianised so no worries about traffic. Lots of cafes and restaurants too.

The Piazza Bra is where you will find the Arena of Verona. As a result, the piazza is busy, and the bars and restaurants a little expensive. We ate our last evening meal in one of these restaurants; while the food was good, I thought it a little overpriced, even for Verona.

Dominated by the Arena Piazza Bra is quite unique, a small Piazza with a market on some days selling spit roased pig, all manor of strange cheeses, wine, bread etc. On one side the street cafes give it a nice atmosphere - lovely.

During our trip to the area there was a sweets fair. This has created an unforgettable atmosphere - it was cold outside, but we were warming up with hot chocolate, wine and sweets.
