This small but beautiful church was in the piazza in front of our hotel (Due Torri Hotel). It is well worth visiting for the beautiful ceilings and quaint feel.

Gothic style on the outside, the inner naves of the church are decorated with columns of incredible finesse where white is the dominant colour. It's really magical, I went there 4 times.

Incredible. Try and visit on a Sunday and stand at the back quietly while mass is going on - listen to the choir fill the church with mesmerising sound. Stunning.

This church is beautiful on the inside. The art and history are very evident. We arrived toward the end of a service and were in time to hear the pipe organ being performed. What a treat!!
The church does charge a small fee to visit, but it is well worth the cost!

Very impressive architecture, plus the works of art and, especially, the frescos are wonderful.

A lovely old church at the top end of town between Piazza Erbe and Ponte Pietra. Beautiful stone frontage. Handy little bar directly opposite - Say hi to Marilena if you stop for a Custoza. . .

This is beautiful (though I preferred S Zeno and S Fermo). It's also enormous! The ceiling is gorgeously painted and I really enjoyed looking at the artwork.

Worth going to see the paintings. There is a good brochure explaining the paintings as well.

I think this is one of the loveliest churches I have seen - the frescoes and painted decoration are wonderful.
