I loved just having a takeaway coffee and croissant and stopping in the middle of the bridge and just watching the world go buy. Just lovely. More

This real masterpiece of military architecture is among the most recognisable features of Verona. Diligent archeologists and local workers have restored it to its previous splendor. It's a real Medieval fairy... More

First go to Castelvechio, search the courtyard, visit museum. From the courtyard to the left you are entering the bridge. It was built in 1355, but part of it was destroyed in 1954. Crossing the bridge is great experience that gives you spectacular view of the river and Verona. During my visit, on the bridge was organized food festival. When... More

Right by the Castelvecchio Museum. Free to cross and worth it. Brick built and striking it was blown up by the retreating Germans in WW2 but it has been wonderfully restored. Cheap entertainment. More

Shame that the Germans blew up the original bridge as they retreated from Verona, but congratulations to the Veronese for rescuing the brick and rebuilding. Best seen in total from Castle Vecchio, but fun to walk over and peer between the castelations.m More
