This little church is a real gem. Its simplicity sets it apart from many others, but that is deceptive. Take care to mount the altar steps and look at the carved putti round the wainscot. They are quite charming. If your interest is spiritual this is the best place for quit co temptation I know.

We went to this Church of Miracles, the marble and decor is wonderful and we just enjoyed walking around , stopping a looking at life around the area, worth a prayer , a place to sit and contemplate

This is a beautiful, peaceful church, off the beaten track with very few visitors. Exquisite inside and out, rightly described as 'a gem'. Worth sitting down to take in the lovely colour and pattern of the walls and ceiling, then going up to the altar area to admire the intricate filigree of the sculpted marble and mythical sea creatures. A unique whole work of art wwhich should not be missed.

A bit hard to find, as the maps are not particularly helpful, but Santa Maria is a very pretty church to visit. The exterior is set with beautiful mosiac stone, and the inside has some wonderful art works.
