Worth the time and effort. Go early and beat the crowds. We reserved tickets from Select Italy and went right in. It is alot of walking but amazing.

This was our third time here, so maybe we're a bit jaded. It's a grand edifice, but the tours are getting a little out of hand. Still it's a must see in Venice.

A wonderful place, impressed by the ceilings. Would rather be not in prison there. Ticket and combined ticket is not explained clearly, you have to wait longtime before you can enter and when you are inside you have to buy ticket immediately.

Great architecture, great art collection. You just have to get in to witness how powerful and rich the Venetians were historically. Admission is slightly expensive but it's worth going.

Remember do NOT take pictures...

Including the so-called Bridge of Sighs and prison, there are no fewer than 40 numbered rooms, some so vast that it's hard to take in all the features ... binoculars or opera glasses for the dedicated visitor are essential. The armory...
